High School Hiking Club

Join us at rotating locations around Louisville for an inclusive hiking club for teens and young adults of all abilities! We will:

• Hike 1/2 mile to 2 miles on fully accessible trails (paved or hard packed gravel, wheelchair accessible, mostly flat with gentle hills)

• Learn about mindfulness strategies and the plants/animals we see on our hikes

• Support each other in a welcoming environment

When: Tuesday September 24th, 4:30-5:30pm

Who: Middle and High schoolers aged 14-21. Participants must be able to follow safety related directions and stay with the group with minimal assistance.

*If your child needs additional support or has behavioral challenges but is interested in participating, please contact us! Caregivers may accompany children who need 1:1 supervision.

Where: Jefferson Memorial Forest

Cost: $5 per hike (financial assistance available)
